Insurance Notice

While we accept most major insurance plans, we are NOT “in-network” with certain plans, including but not limited to:

• Cigna Connect
• Cigna Simple Choice
• Sentara Kaiser
• Kaiser
• Out-of-state Medicaid plans
• Out-of-state Dual Eligible Medicare Advantage plans
• Some Out-of-state HMO plans

Please contact your insurance company before your appointment to confirm that our practice and provider are in-network with your specific insurance plan. Insurance coverage and network participation may vary by plan.

Referral Required for Some Insurance Plans

If your insurance plan requires a referral to see a specialist, please obtain an “insurance referral” from your primary care provider (PCP) before your appointment.

Effective January 1, 2026, most UnitedHealthcare and AARP Medicare Advantage HMO/POS plans require an “insurance referral” to see a neurologist.
